{"id":35324,"date":"2022-10-17T14:47:06","date_gmt":"2022-10-17T14:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carandini.com\/?p=35324"},"modified":"2025-10-06T12:39:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T12:39:25","slug":"ribadavia-town-hall-has-won-an-award-at-the-ix-galicia-energy-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carandini.com\/en\/ribadavia-town-hall-has-won-an-award-at-the-ix-galicia-energy-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"RIBADAVIA TOWN HALL HAS WON AN AWARD AT IX GALICIA ENERGY AWARDS 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;5\/6&#8243;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<a href=\"http:\/\/ribadavia.gal\/\">Ribadavia Town Hall<\/a> has won an award at the <a href=\"https:\/\/noitedaenerxia.icoiig.es\/fallo-ix-premios\/\">IX Galicia Energy Awards 2022<\/a> for the energy efficiency boost achieved by replacing the street lighting in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The award is presented by the<a href=\"https:\/\/icoiig.es\/\"> National Association of Industrial Engineers<\/a> in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiig.es\/\">Galician Association of Industrial Engineers<\/a> to recognise the most outstanding people, companies and entities in the field of energy throughout Galicia during 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE PROJECT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By installing new LED luminaires and a smart control system, Ribadavia Local Council has made the city more environmentally friendly and sustainable while obtaining an <strong>energy saving of 58% and a monetary saving of more than \u20ac50,000 per year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carandini was one of the companies responsible for supplying and designing the project. In total, more than 1,200 lighting points were installed on roads, amenities and fa\u00e7ades.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/carandini.com\/en\/urbalite\/\">URBALITE S<\/a> luminaire was chosen for the urban spaces. Its simple yet modern design has a low carbon footprint and its versatility means it can be used for all sorts of road spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Two other products were chosen for parks, gardens and other similar spaces. The <a href=\"https:\/\/carandini.com\/en\/century\/\">CENTURY<\/a> luminaire with its contemporary and elegant look, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/carandini.com\/en\/c-line\/\">C-LINE<\/a> luminaire for a minimalist design and simple installation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carandini.com\/en\/mikos\/\">MIKOS<\/a> projectors were also used to light building fa\u00e7ades and monuments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GOALS ACHIEVED<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By replacing their street lighting, the residents of Ribadavia can now enjoy <strong>more efficient and sustainable lighting<\/strong> with <strong>greater uniformity<\/strong> and outstanding <strong>visual comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sertogal.com\/\">Sertogal S.L.<\/a> was the engineering firm behind the project and Aopil, S.L. undertook the installation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Many congratulations to everyone concerned on winning this prize!<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ribadavia Town Hall has won an award at the IX Galicia Energy Awards 2022 for the energy efficiency boost achieved by replacing the street lighting in the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":14,"featured_media":35732,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-35324","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.8 -
