[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Our new solution for tunnels and underpasses, T-XTREME<\/a><\/strong>, has received the prestigious 2023 Red Dot Design Award<\/a> in the Urban Product Design category<\/strong>. This award, one of the most prestigious of its kind in the world, recognises excellence in quality and design.<\/p>\n

T-XTREME, which was entirely designed by Carandini\u2019s team of engineers in Barcelona<\/strong>, is a projector for tunnels and underpasses that helps optimise the performance and security of underground infrastructure<\/strong>, as well as dealing with the lighting challenges found in these types of spaces.<\/p>\n

The jury, made up of 43 design experts from around the world, highlighted the projector\u2019s superb quality, sturdiness, durability and innovative and sustainable nature<\/strong>. Its ability to offer new solutions and responses to user needs was another feature the jury pointed to.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe’re proud that our project has been named one of the best product designs of the year. This prize recognises the work and dedication that the entire technical team at Carandini<\/strong> puts in on a daily basis,\u201d stated Germ\u00e1n Navarro, Carandini\u2019s general manager.<\/p>\n

Xavi Traver\u00eda, the company\u2019s technical and R&D manager, underscored \u201cthe efforts of the entire team.\u201d \u201cWe were able to design the best lighting solution for tunnels on the market<\/strong>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony will be held at a special gala on 19 June 2023 in Essen, Germany. The designers El\u00edas Almansa and Technical Manager Ib\u00e1n Sol\u00e1 will be there to receive the award.<\/p>\n

The T-XTREME solution will also be featured in the 2023\/2024 Red Dot Design Yearbook, as well as in a video at the Red Dot Design Museum.<\/p>\n
