Participants will debate and exchange opinions on the evolution and <strong>latest technologies in solar lighting, sustainability applied to public lighting, smart sensing, and smart cities<\/strong>, among other topics.<\/p>\n<p>As every year, Carandini will be one of the event sponsors and will participate in two presentations alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecolum.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ecolum<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rubatec.es\/eng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rubatec<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SMART LABEL, SUSTAINABILITY AND ZHAGA: OPEN AND INTEROPERABLE TRACEABILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Xavi Traveria from Carandini and Sergio Somavilla from Rubatec will lead this presentation focused on the <strong>key role of the maintainer in the renewal of LED lighting<\/strong>. They will explain the tools that new technologies provide us: <strong>smart labels, the standard Zhaga protocol, and Ecolum certification<\/strong>, to be more efficient and sustainable at a time when LED luminaires are already starting to be renewed.<\/p>\n<p>With <strong>sustainability as the main objective<\/strong> and without energy efficiency being the primary reason for the change, Xavi and Sergio will discuss how to create the necessary conditions to prolong the lifetime of luminaires through preventive maintenance operations.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation will take place next <strong>Thursday, May 23, at 12:00 PM at the Santiago Grisol\u00eda Auditorium in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>RECYCLABILITY INDEX: CONCLUSIONS ONE YEAR AFTER ITS LAUNCH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A year after Pilar V\u00e1zquez, director of the Ecolum Foundation, and Xavi Traveria, technical and R&amp;D director at Carandini, presented the revolutionary recyclability index at the National Lighting Symposium in Huesca, they return to headline this presentation to showcase the <strong>results obtained since the certification&#8217;s launch<\/strong>.
