10 Sep Carandini announces assembly and distribution agreement for Saudi Arabia
Carandini has reached a strategic agreement with Gulf Power Distribution System Factory Co (GPDS) y Saudi Electric Supply Company (SESCO), both part of the TAMIMI Energy Group, for the manufacturing and distribution of its innovative and smart lighting luminaires and control solutions in Saudi Arabia. Under this agreement, GPDS will handle the manufacturing of Carandini luminaires, while SESCO will manage their distribution across the country.

The partnership will focus on key sectors, including roadways, tunnels, public amenities, sports facilities, and solar-powered systems, addressing the diverse needs of the country’s public lighting infrastructure. By combining GPDS and SESCO’s regional expertise with Carandini’s 106 years of lighting expertise, the collaboration brings together unmatched technical knowledge and experience.


Together, the companies will deliver advanced smart lighting technologies designed to optimize energy consumption, support sustainability objectives, and enhance urban living. Operations are scheduled to commence in Q4 2025, marking a new chapter in Saudi Arabia’s public lighting landscape.
