Carandini becomes a sponsor of two postgraduate programs organized by Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya

We are proud to announce our collaboration as sponsors of the “Postgraduate in Project, Design, and Calculation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Special Installations” and the “Postgraduate in Maintenance of Equipment and Installations,” prestigious advanced studies organized by “Enginyers Industrials de Catalunya” (EIC).

The “Postgraduate in Project, Design, and Calculation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Special Installations” is aimed at engineers, architects, and professionals who want to specialize in the field of installation. It offers a global vision of the sector and focuses on the design of installations for industrial and service buildings, applying current regulations. Additionally, it introduces the EU’s Next Generation aid related to photovoltaic installations with the goal of contributing to decarbonization and reducing the impact of climate change.

The second postgraduate program sponsored by Carandini focuses on the maintenance of equipment and installations and aims to provide professionals with the necessary tools for more efficient and sustainable management of industrial equipment. This course is aimed at engineers, architects, and graduates in these disciplines, as well as professionals who wish to specialize in the field of industrial maintenance.

The objectives of the postgraduate program focus on cost reduction without compromising equipment reliability and availability, improving the sustainability of installations by minimizing environmental impact, and implementing monitoring systems for more efficient energy management. Additionally, it addresses techniques for diagnosing and preventing breakdowns, thus contributing to operational continuity and resource savings.

Both postgraduate programs are directed by Xavier Alabern, PhD in Industrial Engineering, University Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UPC, Deputy Director of Business Relations at ETSEIAT-UPC, and MBA from ESADE.
