City View: Innovation in Urban Lighting

Carandini launches City View, a groundbreaking light point designed to challenge traditional lighting columns. With its minimalist structure, it blends into the city’s visual environment, allowing for unobstructed views of the urban landscape.

THE ART OF ILLUMINATING THE CITY

It is available in two heights: 4.7 and 6 metres, with the option to include one or two luminaires at the same or different heights. Additionally, it can be equipped with a 10-litre trash can as a complement and the option to engrave a customised municipal emblem, adding a distinctive and decorative touch to the product, beautifying the urban environment, and strengthening the cultural identity and sense of belonging of the citizens.

In a second phase, other accessories will be included, such as an innovative natural vertical garden that will significantly reduce the light point’s carbon footprint and create a more sustainable and efficient urban environment.

AN EXERCISE IN SIMPLICITY AND ELEGANCE

City View is distinguished by an elegant and simple design, consisting of two slender columns connected by a robust base. This subtle structure harmoniously integrates into any type of environment, providing optimal light distribution at night, with a discreet presence during the day.

Its two columns are complemented by Carandini’s Mikos luminaire, designed for urban environments, respectful of dark skies, highly efficient, and with a recyclability value of over 99%.

AN AUTHOR DESIGN

The new City View light point has been designed in collaboration with Jordi Miró, a technical industrial engineer specializing in projection, direction, and execution of urban space projects, and designer of various architectural lighting products.
