Located to the northwest of Paris, Asnières-sur-Seine is one of the communes that make up the Grand Paris metropolis, an area that is home to millions of people around the French capital. With nearly 90,000 inhabitants, Asnières stands out for its urban growth and its connectivity with the rest of the region.
Among its infrastructures is the Asnières underpass, a tunnel used daily as a shortcut by both pedestrians and drivers to cross the road safely, avoiding the noise and traffic above.
As one of the main routes for residents, the Asnières-sur-Seine city council recently decided to upgrade its lighting to transform the tunnel into a brighter, safer and more efficient space.
A SAFER AND MORE ATRACTIVE UNDERPASS FOR THE COMMUNITY
The T-MAX projector proved to be the ideal choice for this project. Specifically designed to operate in demanding environments, such as tunnels or areas with high levels of dirt and dust, its great robustness ensures a lifetime of between 25 and 30 years. Additionally, this durability results in a significant reduction in maintenance needs, making it an efficient and sustainable long-term solution.
To ensure optimal visibility and greater efficiency, a color temperature of 4000K was chosen. This decision not only enhances the visual perception of the space but also helps create a safer environment, something the residents of Asnières have welcomed with enthusiasm.
The new lighting system has enabled the city council to save more than 50% on energy costs, further solidifying the tunnel as a key infrastructure for local mobility.

T-MAX has been designed using the latest in LED lighting, developing a housing inside that is guaranteed to last for decades in tunnel environments.
