The municipality of “La Courneuve” in France, together with Plaine Commune, entrusted Carandini with the replacement of “Mail de l’Egalite” square lighting.
At a time of energy crisis like the current one, the main objective of municipality was to replace the old LED luminaires (inefficient and structurally deficient) with new robust, safe and sustainable solutions.
Carandini fullfilled client’s needs with the installation of 66 Mikos S-size floodlights in an original white colour, achieving energy savings of more than 50%.
The colour temperature chosen was 3000K, complying with “Arrêté de Nuissances Lumineuses”, the French decree in lighting pollution.
CUSTOMIZABLE LIGHTING CONTROL FOR MORE SUSTAINABLE CITIES
All the luminaires installed included a personalised lighting control system, according to different time slots, which allowed the luminous flux to be automatically reduced during the less busy hours of the night.
Solutions like this are essential for reducing light pollution and achieving a city economic savings.
OBJECTIVE ACHIEVED
Thanks to this new facility installed by ENTRA, the inhabitants of “La Courneuve” now enjoy a safe, innovative and environmentally friendly urban space.
