PALAZZO CANAVESE, PIEDMONT – ITALY

Palazzo Canavese, Piedmont – Italy

Palazzo Canavese is a charming and picturesque municipality in the Piedmont region, surrounded by valleys and mountains. Located just a few kilometers from Lake Viverone, it is a spectacular destination for nature lovers and hikers, as it features a section of the famous Via Francigena, an ancient medieval pilgrimage route that crosses England, France, Switzerland, and Italy.

From an artistic point of view, the highlights are the Church of San Genesio, the town’s patron, dating back to the 18th century, and the Torrione, the only surviving element of the old feudal castle, located next to the Town Hall and currently functioning as a bell tower.

A NEW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND HIGHLY EFFICIENT LIGHTING SYSTEM

As part of urban transformation and with a clear objective of improving energy efficiency, the Palazzo Canavese Town Council decided to modernize the lighting throughout the municipality, including the town’s access roads, which did not have an electrical grid.

In collaboration with the Italian company ARC.LED from Alberico Forni di Grugliasco (TO), Carandini provided two LED lighting solutions. Within the municipality, the classic Clamod luminaire with a warm color temperature was chosen for greater visual comfort and environmental protection. In the access roads, due to the lack of electricity, the Town Council decided to install Ceres, a 100% solar solution with over 2,000 charge cycles and long durability with almost no maintenance.

GREEN, CLEAN AND COST-FREE ENERGY

From rural areas to bike lanes, residential areas, cemeteries, and other isolated or off-grid areas, solar energy has become a sustainable, reliable, ecological and economical alternative for these environments. It requires no trenches or wiring, can include motion sensors for greater energy savings, and once installed, offers a quick return on investment.

If you need to carry out a project with solar energy, do not hesitate to contact us for more information. We have a department specialised in this type of lighting, which will advise you on any questions you may have and offer you the best solution adapted to the demands of your project.

CLAMOD

Classic aesthetic luminaire with a wide range of colour temperatures and optical distributions that minimise light pollution and generate harmonious spaces of well-being for people and the environment. Dark Sky certified.

CERES

Equipped with a monocrystalline silicon solar panel and a deep-cycle battery, the Ceres luminaire can operate autonomously for entire days on a single charge, making it the ideal choice for remote regions and areas without access to electricity.
